Store 4th of July hours 2017: Is Gamestop open?

Will Gamestop be open on Independence Day, or closed like many stores on the 4th of July?

Holidays are a time for friends and families to gather and celebrate. This holiday celebrates the day the United States declared their independence.

It has most recently become synonymous with fireworks, grilling and spending time on the water. Others might prefer to spend the day indoors, or be forced to because of weather, and use that time to catch up on TV shows, movies or video games.

If you’re interested in the latter, you might need to swing to a store like Gamestop to pick up more games. The good news is, most Gamestops should be open on July 4th.

The holiday happens to fall on a Tuesday, which also happens to be the day video games are released. That might play a role in some stores electing to stay open on the holiday, though it isn’t two highly anticipated games.
