Will Chipotle be serving up burritos and other items to hungry customers on the 4th of July this year?

The 4th of July is all about celebrating Independence Day and having the freedom to do whatever. If that means going to get a giant burrito from Chipotle for lunch, then that freedom is granted to any hungry citizen of this great nation.

Like most fast food places, Chipotle is indeed open on the 4th of July. There is a caveat however to their stores being open. Most of their locations will close at 3 p.m., which means lunch can be had but dinner can not.

This allows their employees to go out and spend the rest of the day as they please. Whether it is fireworks or spending time with families, Chipotle understands the importance of holidays and is known for making sure they give their workers time off.

Still, having all the way until late into the afternoon is a pretty big window to get food from there. There’s no reason to complain about missing out if a trip can’t be made in time to the nearest location.

For those that aren’t able to make it in on Tuesday, the business will resume their normal hours on Wednesday. So it’s essentially they’re only briefly closing early for one day and then returning as if they never left. Those steak bowls, burritos and other items will be just as delicious the following day as they would be on the 4th of July.
