Ricky Rubio tweets out displeasure of Gordon Hayward Celtics news

Ricky Rubio tweeted a frowny face in regards to the Gordon Hayward news. Rubio is obviously disappointed Hayward picked to go to Boston.
Gordon Hayward is coming to Boston. The Celtics won the free agent sweepstakes and landed a star. Unfortunately, the Jazz lost their best player and will now have to go in a different direction. Reacting to the Hayward news, Ricky Rubio didn’t seem to thrilled.

Rubio is the new man in charge of the Jazz offseason after being brought over from the Timberwolves. Rubio will be replacing George Hill as the new point guard who Gordon Hayward was reportedly close with. Utah will now have to lock in on a contingency plan as the Western Conference is tougher than ever.
In Celtics news, Isaiah Thomas seems to be exhilarated from learning the news on his new teammate.
The former Butler hoops star gets to pair with his former collegiate coach. As of now, there are differing reports on whether Hayward has officially signed with Boston. While all signs point to Boston as an inevitable singing, Hayward’s agent hasn’t announced the deal yet.
Now it’s time to wait and see if and when Hayward signs with the Celtics. Hayward was the player they have been targeting all offseason. Obviously, the #Stayward campaign in Utah wasn’t enough to keep him in Salt Lake City as it looks like he is shipping up to Boston. It appears to be only a matter of time before another July 4 free agency drama awaits us.

After a 53-win season, Boston could be upwards of 60-plus wins next season. The question now is whether the Celtics can contend for a title right away. While the Jazz won 51 games, they may struggle to make the playoffs in a jam-packed Western Conference.
