We answer the immortal question on everyone’s mind: Is Walgreens open on the 4th of July?

Will Walgreens be open for the 4th of July? That is a question that is on everybody’s mind. You don’t think so? Try snagging a patriotic shirt or an American flag at the last minute at any store. Come back and tell us how that experience went.

Now, do you understand why people are asking if Walgreens will be open on the 4th of July?

So, are they open? The short answer is yes.

Most Walgreens around the country are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Unless you live in particular neighborhoods, where your local Walgreens may shut down at, like, 8 pm, for various reasons. Otherwise, you should be comforted to know that your local Walgreens will be there to have your back on the 4th of July.

If you are one of three people that don’t have a Walgreens in your neighborhood or town, let me explain the sheer wonderland of this drugstore.

Walgreens is basically the top dog in the drugstore game. Sure, you got Rite Aid and CVS fighting for their share of the pie, but Walgreens is the Walmart of drugstores. They’re everywhere, and they will be there when you need them most.

Heck, Walgreens doesn’t even close on Christmas. So what does that tell you?

It should tell you that no matter what, Walgreens will be there for your shopping convenience on Uncle Sam’s birthday. It’s become a God given American ritual. Everywhere else shall close except Walgreens and Walmart.

The “Double W’s” there to save the day.

They will save the day as well. If you’re heading for a fireworks display, and you need some drinks in a pinch, American flags to deck out your car, or something that you simply do not need. Guess who will be there.

You guessed it. Walgreens.
