Hayward and George are the two biggest moves, but who has had the best NBA off-season?
Gordon Hayward is a Boston Celtic, no real surprise there. Paul George ended up in Oklahoma City, even it if is for just one year, sent shockwaves across the NBA with Boston as the epicenter. Big recovery for Danny Ainge getting Hayward, even though Brad Stevens probably deserves most of the credit. We haven’t even gotten to Chris Paul pairing up with James Harden, or the Minnesota Timberwolves who perhaps had the best offseason of all. Chicago Bulls part two, the northern version with Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins leading the way. The Timberwolves could do more than just make the playoffs.
The 4th of July means the middle of summer and it means that Kayla went to a lake and represented America. It also means that Aaron Judge is on pace to be the best Yankee since Derek Jeter, 28 home runs to date and a bunch of stadiums in need of dent repair. We do not discuss either the Cubs or the Cardinals and are officially imposing a ban on both until at least one of the two climbs over the .500 mark.
Wimbledon is underway and the top seeds look good with the exception of Stan Wawrinka. A new field trip is discussed mid-show with Kayla showing some feistiness to take to the courts.
In a topic that will never be discussed again, the life story and whereabouts of Amelia Earhart closes out the show, so stick around for the conclusion.
