Does Spider-Man: Homecoming have a post-credits scene following the return of the neighborhood friendly superhero played by Tom Holland?
The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has arrived with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Fans of comic-book movies will certainly be aware that this is the third attempt at introducing Spider-Man to the big screen. However, this is the first time that it’s been included in the MCU. And as such, there’s plenty of reason to be excited.
Tom Holland stars as the titular neighborhood friendly superhero, and looks to have the chops. We’ve seen him already in Captain America: Civil War, and he was quite phenomenal in a limited role in the ensemble cast. It remains to be seen how he’ll perform in Spider-Man: Homecoming where he must carry the whole film, but all signs are promising.
Meanwhile, the cast around Holland is undoubtedly loaded. Michael Keaton stars as Vulture, a Spider-Man villain that we’ve never seen before on the big screen. Given the work that Keaton has done recently, that’s a huge addition to the cast. So too is Robert Downey Jr., who stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man in a pseudo-mentor role for Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
As exciting as the arrival of the new Spidey film is, everyone would be remiss to not talk about what’s next in the MCU. And when it comes to Marvel films, there are almost always hints at the future via post-credits scenes. But you never know. So then, does Spider-Man: Homecoming have a post-credits scene?
