The Montreal Alouettes host the B.C. Lions at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday, July 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Montreal Alouettes and B.C. Lions both enter week three of the CFL season with 1-1 records with both teams losing to the Edmonton Eskimos. In Week 3, the two teams met at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal, looking for their second win of the season.

The Lions defeated the Toronto Argonauts 28-15 behind the strength of their defense. British Columbia forced three turnovers helped them win the time of possession battle. The Leos will try to again win the possession battle against the Alouettes. Quarterback Jonathan Jennings was a popular choice to win Most Outstanding Player before the season started. However, Jennings has struggled out of the gate. In contrast, Jeremiah Johnson has been excellent to start the season, averaging more than seven yards per attempt.

Montreal might have the best defense in the CFL, however, their offense has been disappointing over the first two games. Darian Durant was supposed to solve the revolving door at quarterback for Montreal, but his play has been rather average through two games. Durant has shown the ability to complete big plays downfield, but he has struggled to move the chains consistently. Defensively, the Alouettes have struggled to get to the quarterback this year, recording just one sack. Against the Lions, Montreal needs to get to Jennings and prevent him from finding open receivers.
