Quaker State 400 TV schedule: Watch NASCAR from Kentucky

It’s time for more racing under the lights, this time from Kentucky Speedway on three straight nights.

All three top NASCAR series are back in action this week from awesomely named Sparta, Kentucky, as we go racing Thursday night through Saturday night. The Quaker State 400 brings it home on Saturday night, with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series looking to get some semblance of normalcy back after a wild Daytona night race.

The speeds won’t be as high at Kentucky Speedway, but drivers in all three series are running out of time to make their respective playoffs. There’s still quite a bit of summer left to go, but believe it or not, the playoffs will begin in less than 10 weeks. In the Cup Series, especially, spots earned through points will be at a premium, meaning a win this weekend could really solidify things for the victor and leave others increasingly desperate.

What’s interesting is that even without a long history of racing at Kentucky, there are already drivers who have mastered the 1.5-mile oval. Brad Keselowski has won half of the Cup Series races there, three of the six, finding Victory Lane in every even-numbered year. Can he break that sequence up and establish total dominance on Saturday?
