When will the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming arrive in theaters?

After years of anticipation, the Marvel Universe will finally get the Spider-Man film it deserves with Spider-Man: Homecoming hitting theaters this Friday. With the early word strong about the latest reboot for the franchise, fans will no doubt be throwing plenty of cash at this film.

Since the buzz around this film is strong, it means that everyone will be anticipating what’s next for Spider-Man once this film is done. The good news is that one should expect plenty of sequels for this hero.

Currently, a sequel is tentatively scheduled for July 5, 2019.  That means the opening weekend of July will once again belong to Spider-Man in a couple of years. By that point, the Marvel Universe will be expanded and further along in it’s overarching narrative.

However, there will be plenty of time to debate about what will take place in that film as rumors persist. Any post-credits scenes for this film could provide a clearer image of what one should expect for an upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The role of Tony Stark in this story should also end up playing a factor as to how the next film unfolds as well. His role as a mentor to the young superhero should lay the foundation as to where Peter Parker goes from here going forward. The good news is that the time to debate commences now, as the film is almost here and the journey is set to continue for fans.
