Brad Keselowski

Brad Keselowski’s reputation somewhat precedes him in NASCAR, but that’s what also makes him an appealing getaway driver. He earned the nickname “Bad Brad” over his career, but he’s also earned the 2012 Cup Series championship and the 2010 Nationwide Series championship, and drives for one of the elite organizations in motorsports in Team Penske. He’s got both the credentials and the attitude to fit right in with any heist team.

Keselowski is one of just four drivers who have multiple wins in the 2017 NASCAR season, and he currently sits fifth in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series points standings. Over 286 races run at the Cup Series level, the No. 2 pilot can claim 139 top-10 results, which is just shy of 50 percent.

That’s a massive statistic considering how many things have to go right for a driver to make it into the top 10 on any given Sunday. And that’s no fluke; Keselowski also has 165 top 10s in the 245 Xfinity Series races that he’s competed in. He’s consistently somewhere near the top, and you want a driver who can hang with the best.

But let’s go back to his off-track personality. Keselowski is no stranger to confrontation, having mixed things up with more than one of his fellow competitors over the years, including the generally mild-mannered Jeff Gordon in a famous pit lane fight and the equally tough Matt Kenseth in an infamous brawl that’s the kind of stuff you’d actually see in a heist movie. So if anyone tried to mess with you or get in his way, the Michigan native would not hesitate to step up. In that sense, “Bad Brad” would be a very, very good choice.
