Martin Truex Jr. won each stage and cruised to victory at the 2017 Quaker State 400 to pick up his 10th career victory.

Kentucky has been good to Martin Truex Jr. throughout his career. On Saturday night, it was even better to him. The man that has been the king of winning stages, took no prisoners as he once again made his way to way to victory lane this season at the 2017 Quaker State 400.

On a night that looked like it could finally be Kyle Busch’s turn to win a race, Truex Jr. was just way too much for him or anyone else. Stage One belonged to Truex Jr., as Busch failed to hold him off for the lead.

The second stage was a wreck-filled one that took out a chunk of the field. Jimmie Johnson called it an early night, as he hit the right front hard on the wall and saw his chance at his 84th career win come to an end.

In the end, it was Truex Jr. taking the checkered flag. He had built up a lead over 16 seconds before a late caution sent it to overtime via Kurt Busch.
