Kyle Busch starts on pole for the Quaker State 400. Here’s the complete starting grid for Saturday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Kentucky.

Kyle Busch is the pole sitter for Saturday’s Quaker State 400. Busch will not only lead the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race to green, but he also captured the pole position for the postponed Xfinity Series race as well.

Second on the Quaker State 400 starting grid is perpetual bridesmaid Martin Truex Jr., followed by Matt Kenseth, who set the NASCAR world abuzz on Friday by admitting that he doesn’t have a job for 2018.

Another victim of bad news at Kentucky Speedway was current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series points leader Kyle Larson, who will once again have to fight from the rear of the field after he missed qualifying. At least his Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Jamie McMurray qualified in fourth place, followed by Denny Hamlin in fifth.

Kevin Harvick, NASCAR’s race winner at Sonoma, will start the Quaker State 400 in eighth while most recent race winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will begin Saturday even further down in 18th. It’s going to be a bumpy ride for people not named Kyle Busch, who spoke to the media after the rain shortened qualifying session:
