WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017 results: Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman video highlights

One of the fiercest rivalries came to a violent end at WWE Great Balls of Fire on Sunday night, as Roman Reigns took on Braun Strowman in an ambulance match.

After having brawled for almost half of a year in just about every place, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns met to settle their differences once and for all at WWE Great Balls of Fire. With an ambulance looming in the corner of the arena, both men made their way to the ring.

Neither man wasted time early exchanging punches with the other. The same mindset they have had for months dictated the early pace of the match between the two. Strowman delivered huge blow after blow early to drop the former world champion.

The behemoth would get so focused on beating down Reigns that he actually attempted a pin fall at one point while forgetting the rules of the match. Strowman made the first move to the ambulance by carrying Reigns over his shoulder. The latter would escape and find his way back to the ring as the big man got even more angry.

Getting distracted by his own fury, Strowman would take a Samoan drop and then a drive-by to his recently repaired elbow. Reigns took a steel chair and slammed it against Strowman’s elbow against the post repeatedly.

As the two brawled up to the stage, Reigns once again took a flight off the stage straight into the ambulance. Strowman tried to force his opponent into the ambulance, but took a Superman punch. That knocked him halfway into the ambulance but the doors remained open.

As Reigns got knocked to the ground, a body board came crashing down against his back. The two would make their way back up to the stage and things took a destructive turn for the worst. As Strowman attempted a powerslam, Reigns fought him off and launched him through the giant LED wall that lined the stage.

Roman tried to lift up the dead weight of the much larger monster, but he was sent back off the stage to the ground. After hitting Strowman with a camera, he went for the win. Seeing an opportunity to spear Strowman into the ambulance, the monster ducked and Reigns launched himself straight into the ambulance.

Strowman closed the doors and picked up the victory over his hated rival. Despite the match being over, Reigns popped out and began to pummel the man that just beat him. He loaded him up and drove straight out of the arena and into the garage. He would slam the ambulance into reverse while driving it straight into the back of an 18-wheeler with Strowman inside.
