The Cousin Eddie bobblehead might be the best giveaway of the year

A “Christmas in July” promotion by a minor league baseball team has raised the bar for giveaways following the announcement of an outstanding Cousin Eddie bobblehead.
The Kane County Cougars are a Class-A Minor League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks and play their home games at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, Illinois.
On July 12, the Cougars began a six-game homestand.
In the interest of making said homestand truly count, they put together a string of promos for each game.
This is obviously not a new concept, but what matters here, in this case, is what the team happens to be giving away.
First off, Thursday night’s game has been coined as “Professional Wrestling Night,” which will feature a special appearance from WWE Hall of Famer and living legend, Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

You know as well as I know that there’s really only one word for that:

So it would probably be wise to start following @kccougars on Twitter right now because I’m hoping for — and fully expecting, actually — some great video from what should be a ridiculous appearance.
[If Jimmy doesn’t march back and forth atop the home team’s dugout with his signature 2×4, we have all lost.]

On Friday, July 13, the team will be celebrating “Christmas in July” with a freakin’ Cousin Eddie bobblehead giveaway.

With so many great scenes to choose from the incomparable Christmas Vacation, going with the “Shitter’s Full” version of Cousin Eddie was a sound choice.
The hat, the cigar, the short bathrobe. It’s all so perfectly ridiculous. They even sprinkled in some chest hair.
Anyone lucky enough to get one of these should be placing it on their office desk with great pride.
Or perhaps maybe even mount it to the hood of their car.
