Mayweather’s reading ability was put out there to the public back in 2014 when rapper, and former friend, 50 Cent called him out. At the time, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was a highly successful fundraiser for research and treatment of the disease. 50 Cent took it a step further, by challenging “Money” Mayweather to his own personal challenge.

“If you can read one page of a Harry Potter book, (expletive), I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to,” 50 Cent said in the challenge.
