Tim Tebow is back at it again in the batter’s box, this time hitting a walk-off home run for the St. Lucie Mets on Thursday night.
While the world was focused on the madness that is the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor press tour, Tim Tebow was out here just casually dropping walk-off home runs for the St. Lucie Mets on Thursday night.
With the game tied at 4-4 in the second game of a doubleheader against the Daytona Tortugas, Tebow stepped up to the plate, and came up clutch like we know him to.
In a clip from Bill Whitehead, Tebow launched a ball to left field, and sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy as it sailed over the fence to give the Mets the win.

Tebow has had an impressive year on the diamond in the Mets minors system, considering he just started pursuing his baseball dream last year. He was called up to St. Lucie, the high-class A program for the Mets, last month, and hasn’t been too shabby at the plate.
The home run was Tebow’s second since he came up to St. Lucie, and his first came in his first at-bat with the team in June right after his call-up to the roster. He’s batting an impressive .326, and has 9 RBI to go along with his two homers with the new squad.
Tebow hit three home runs for his first stop this year, and looks like he’s actually improving as he goes through his time with his new team. Before we know it, we could see Tebow making the rounds in the outfield for the New York Mets in the MLB, leading them to walk-off wins and World Series titles.
All kidding aside, it is impressive to see Tebow launching bombs like he is on the field, and maybe he does have a shot at this whole baseball thing after all.
