Ottawa Redblacks vs. Edmonton Eskimos live stream: Watch CFL online
By Adam Stocker
The Edmonton Eskimos host the Ottawa Redblacks at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, July 14. Here’s all you need to know to watch.
Edmonton enters week four of the season with an undefeated record. Ottawa travels to Edmonton looking for their first win of the season. After tying their first game of the season, Ottawa lost their past two games by a combined five points.
Edmonton is still dealing with the loss of running back John White to a season-ending injury. In his place is former Redblack Travon Van. Van will want to prove his former wrong after they let him leave in free agency. Edmonton’s offensive line has been excellent in pass protection, giving up only one sack. However, they need to do a better job creating holes for Van. If Edmonton cannot run the football, Ottawa will drop more players into coverage to stop Mike Reilly’s passing game.
Ottawa will look to move the ball in the passing game. Quarterback Trevor Harris has been excellent in his first season as the starter. However, Harris has taken a lot of punishment in the past two games, and Ottawa’s offensive line needs to do a better job protecting their franchise player. Harris will be in tough against an Edmonton defense that is only allowing 23 points per game.
