The SEC media has decided. Here is a look at who they picked to be a part of the 2017 preseason All-SEC football team, offense and defense.
After four riveting days at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Alabama at 2017 SEC Football Media Days, the media has decided which players will be on the pre-season All-SEC first team.
It shouldn’t come as much surprise that the Alabama Crimson Tide led the way with nine players on the All-22 team. Interestingly, it was evenly split between offense and defense. Alabama had four players make the first team on offense, including quarterback Jalen Hurts. On defense, the Crimson Tide had five players make the team, including safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
The second-best represented team from the SEC was the Georgia Bulldogs, who had four players make the All-SEC first team. Georgia had two guys on both sides of the ball, including running back Nick Chubb and defensive linemen Trenton Thompson.
