After scouring a loaded roster of talent, here are 25 WWE superstars who are in need of a title push in the second half of 2017.

The second half of the year for WWE always tends to be tough, with viewers often tuning out once late August and September rolls around due to school or other commitments returning once the summer ends.

The rough patch after SummerSlam season wraps up tends to lead to some bolder choices as far as feuds and title runs to help regain the audience, and we usually see hard-working wrestlers rewarded for their efforts with a title push to end the year.

Last year, we saw Finn Balor and Kevin Owens each win the Universal title in just a few weeks span, and then AJ Styles took home the WWE title toward the end of the year to add to the list of unpredictable winners. It helps to build stars late in the year to build towards WrestleMania season at the beginning of the next year, and helps freshen things up on each brand.

This year, there’s a ton more talented superstars on each brand to work with, and plenty of hard workers out there waiting to get their shot at some gold. With such a loaded pool, it’s tough to pick out who deserves a shot the most to end the year. That’s where we come in.

To help those in charge in WWE with their decisions, here are 25 superstars who need a title push in the second half of 2017.

25. Tye Dillinger

It’s not everyday a company has the opportunity to make a Perfect 10 a champion, but WWE has the chance to capture lightning in a bottle here with Tye Dillinger on SmackDown Live.

While his pop has died down a tiny bit since he was called up to the main roster, Dillinger is an incredibly talented wrestler caught in a crowded midcard on SmackDown Live right now. The United States title scene has a ton of superstars looking for a shot at some gold, and Dillinger has found himself lost in the fray ever since he got called up from a successful NXT run.

Dillinger’s never tasted gold in his career between NXT and WWE, but it’d be interesting to see how fans would react to him with a title, and how he could handle a championship run on SmackDown. If there was ever a time to do it, it’d be in the latter part of 2017.

Having Dillinger go over maybe a guy like Kevin Owens for the belt would be a huge rub to a relatively young career, and would help to recapture some of the lost reaction that Dillinger once had from the crowd. Owens could help put over Dillinger’s gimmick well on the mic, and the two could put on some solid matches in the ring at a point in the year where fans tend to tune out and the company can run with some options to help bring in viewers.

Dillinger’s worked hard over the last year, and he deserves at least a small run with a title before the scene gets even more crowded on Tuesday nights.
