WWE cancelling “Talking Smack” was a questionable decision, and it looks like the show’s host Renee Young wasn’t happy about the move.

WWE made an unpopular decision on Friday when they cancelled SmackDown LIVE‘s after-show called Talking Smack, which was a popular show for WWE fans.

The move obviously upset many, as it provided some solid moments in its run as a full-time show, including the infamous rant from The Miz against Daniel Bryan that gave the program some serious momentum when it first aired.

One person clearly impacted by the move was the show’s host, Renee Young. Young was a mainstay on the program, with either Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon or others co-hosting on Tuesday nights after SmackDown.

The host wasn’t happy about the decision, and took to Twitter to voice her displeasure about the cancellation. Young poked a little fun at her role as a backstage announcer with her introducing superstars as guests for interviews, and expressed her sadness for the show’s run ending.

In a statement to PWInsider, who first broke the news, WWE addressed the move, and said that the show will still air, much like Raw Talk, after pay-per-views.

“We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research,” WWE said in the statement. “Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 LIVE.”

While the show won’t be airing as a weekly series, at least we’ll still get to see Young and some of the superstars on the show after SmackDown’s PPV events. However, it’s definitely upsetting to hear the news, given how superstars truly had the chance to shine on the microphone with their promos on the show, like The Miz, Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, and many others.
