Denny Hamlin picked up his first win of the season and earned a playoff spot. How do the rest of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings look?

The drivers of Joe Gibbs Racing don’t have to worry about the team being shut out. On Sunday, momentum finally turned for the team as Denny Hamlin picked up the first win of the season at New Hampshire.

The team that has struggled week in and week out saw strong performances from most of their drivers. Matt Kenseth and Daniel Suarez had strong days while Kyle Busch had a strong one ruined by penalties.

With Hamlin in and each of the other three all having a great shot at making it, this is the turn the team has been looking for. In points news, Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. continue to battle back and forth for the lead.
