The 2017 Tour de France is well under way. Through 16 of 21 stages, here is frightening photo of what this type of intense cycling can do to your legs.

In case you weren’t fully aware, the 2017 Tour de France is under way. The greatest cycling event in the world will be wrapping up in a few days, but it is already through 16 grueling stages. It has 21 stages in total, but can poor cyclist’s Pawel Poljanski’s legs handle another pedal?

The Polish cyclist posted a graphic picture of his extremely veiny legs on Instagram after the first 16 legs of the event. Just about every vein possible is pushed to the surface on his thighs. There is a sweet series of tan lines between where his cycling shorts stop and his cycling shoes begin.

Probably don’t eat before looking at this picture. If he wasn’t trying to win the whole thing in France, a medical professional would definitely tell Poljanski to probably take it easy for a few weeks on that bike because that’s not what your legs are supposed to look like.

If that’s what his legs look like after 16 stages, who knows how ridiculous they will get after 21 stages. Poljanski may not win the Tour de France, but this Instagram photo has to make him a fan favorite now.

It’s a Bittersweet Symphony this cycling life for Poljanski, as he is clearly taking us to the place where all the veins meet, yeah. He can’t change, as he’s here in his mould to be one of the greatest cyclists in the world. Also, when ZZ Top composed “Legs”, this is not what the bearded dudes from Texas had in mind, no way.
