After being heavily linked to a move away from Borussia Dortmund, it seems Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is staying put.

Following reports of the Gabon international wanting out, Dortmund officials asked suitors to meet their asking price. However, no club came forward in time. Consequently, the club decided Aubameyang’s future themselves. Aubameyang has been one of the summer’s most sought after targets thus far. As the 40-goal scorer gets set to stay in Dortmund, other clubs will have to scramble to find a solution.
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly found their man in Neymar. However, Chelsea and AC Milan are still searching for answers. After losing out on Aubameyang, Chelsea and Milan will now turn their attention to Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Torino’s Andrea Belotti.
Milan remain favorites to sign both Morata and Belotti at the moment, but will likely not sign both, despite signing virtually everybody they’ve wanted, and then some, this summer. If the Italian giants manage to haul in either Morata or Belotti, it would be the cherry on top of the best transfer window of this summer.
And then there’s Chelsea. The Blues are in desperate need for a striker. As of right now, the Premier League champions would field Michy Batshuayi or Loic Remy up front. After missing out on Romelu Lukaku, the London camp turned their attention to Aubameyang. The Blues are now likely to revamp their pursuit of Morata, a favorite of manager Antonio Conte.

The Aubameyang news is great for Dortmund. The German giants bring back 40 goals from last season. However, the news of his staying put delivers an unfortunate blow to interested clubs.
