The Houston Rockets are for sale and we have a plan on who to buy them via tennis and the World Series of Poker
Sometimes when you work with someone you uncover their natural talents over time. Kayla Knierim has apparently been holding out on her co-workers and you, the FanSided.com audience. We have now learned that Kayla is both a gambling savant and budding tennis superstar. With the World Series of Poker field set, Kayla will have to wait until next year to be at the final table. However, a wild card at the US Open tennis tournament is still possible.
Now that Kayla will have both newfound fame and fortune, she is in the mix to purchase the Houston Rockets for a little over a billion dollars. The Rockets are apparently interested in Carmelo Anthony, while also cashing out of the NBA business.
In the meantime, it could be time for a trip to Mexico for Kayla. Frontier Airlines made our winners and losers segment for a cheap flight to Cancun- way to go Frontier. There was also Storm The Dog, who rescued a baby dear stealing Kayla’s heart forever. Don’t worry, Russell Westbrook also made the list, this time for singing.
Roger Federer is now a 19-time grand slam champion. The soon to be 36-year old keeps defying the odds and could have one more title in his 2017 arsenal.
The second half of the baseball season has begun, the push to the playoffs officially is on. The Los Angeles Dodgers are playing historic level baseball, having won 30 of their last 34. Tough break for the Houston Astros with Carlos Correa’s thumb injury, but the Astros will not need Correa until the playoffs anyway.
The Cubs have come alive after trading somewhat surprisingly with the White Sox for Jose Quintana, while the Yankees beat the Red Sox to Todd Frazier and David Robertson.
