22. James Carville – LSU Tigers

James Carville bleeds purple and yellow, and there was no doubt he would be included in our top-30 list of the biggest celebrity college football fans. Born in Carville, Louisiana, Carville still resides in the state, although he currently lives in New Orleans. A dominant force in the Democratic Party, Carville does not shy away from his love for the Tigers, and for good reason.

Not only did Carville graduate from Louisiana State with his undergraduate degree, but he also received his Juris Doctorate from the school. A member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, Carville, now 72 years old, is still very much involved with the University. He has delivered commencement speeches, attended games and loves his Tigers with the same passion he displays in his role as a political commentator.

While politics is his main cup of tea, Carville is no slouch when it comes to sports. He has appeared on a number of shows over the years, including ESPN’s First Take. One of the better debaters in the country, Carville can go head to head with anybody when it comes to his Tigers, and has done so on television, and on the radio.

Carville is the definition of a Superfan, and for good reason. He has spent his whole life around the LSU program, and continues to be one of the biggest celebrity supporters of the team today. He is a vicious bulldog when it comes to debating, and he brings that same kind of passion when it comes to his LSU Tigers.
