Roma vs. PSG live stream: Watch International Champions Cup online
Roma face PSG at Comerica Park on Wednesday, July 19. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Roma face Paris-Saint Germain at Comerica Park in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday, July 19. Roma finished second in Serie A last season, just four points behind champions Juventus, but have already lost two key players this summer.
German defender Antonio Rudiger moved to Chelsea, while Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool. Roma’s biggest signings so far have been Feyenoord right-back Rick Karsdorp and Basaksehir midfielder Cengiz Under. The club are touring the U.S. during preseason, and faced off against the University of Michigan football team in a soccer skills challenge earlier this week. Needless to say, the Italians were victorious.
PSG have won the last two International Champions Cup competitions. Real Madrid and Manchester United are the other winners. 2017 marks the fifth edition of the Cup. The competition’s main goal is to give new talent a chance and work out the kinks before regular season play begins.
The French club are looking to rebound from a season in which they lost out to Monaco for the Ligue 1 title. Given they won the league by 31 points this season before, second place represented a major disappointment for Unai Emery in his first season in charge. They’ve been linked to a move for Barcelona forward Neymar already this summer, which would certainly make a big difference as they seek to recapture the French title.
