We don’t endorse smuggling iPhones, but we guess if you’re going to try doing it, go big or go home.

It’s a pretty safe bet you’ve never considered smuggling iPhones from one country to another before, but for the sake of argument, let’s consider it now. How many iPhones do you think you could strap to your body at one time? A dozen, maybe? Two dozen?

Probably not 102, which is what a woman was busted with by Chinese customs officials recently. According to Apple Insider, the woman was caught with “four layers of iPhones wrapped around her torso and waist, sealed in plastic and securely fitted.” Which they’d have to be for her to still be able to move at all.

Not surprisingly, the border officials said they believed it was a record, noting that they’ve seen people attempt 70 or 80 phones before but generally catch people with around a dozen. This smuggler made it truly epic by also trying to get 15 luxury watches out of the country as well.

The woman was on her way back from Hong Kong, where Apple Insider says iPhones can cost as much as 30 percent less than in mainland China due to differences in taxes and fees. That’s a pretty decent mark-up when you consider how expensive the device is to start.

Multiply that by 102 and you don’t exactly have yourself an Ocean’s Eleven-size heist, but you’ve at least made it an attempt worth getting yourself busted. Uh, not that we’ve ever thought about it, because we definitely haven’t.
