British Open 2017: Round 2 tee times, pairings and TV schedule

Here’s a look at all the tee times for the 2017 British Open’s second round, which starts on Friday July 21 at 1:35 a.m. ET. 

The British Open will see its second round get underway on July 21. However, it will start at an extremely inconvenient time for those who do not live in Europe. The first group is scheduled to start hitting the green at 1:35 a.m. ET.

Here’s some of the notable pairings and their tee times. For a full list, please check out the official Open Championship website. Brooks Koepka, currently tied for the lead after the first round with five strokes under par, will be getting started at 10:10 a.m. ET. Tommy Fleetwood and Hideki Matsuyama will complete the trio.

Jordan Spieth fans will be able to watch him play at a reasonable hour. His trio, completed by last year’s champion Henrik Stenson and Si Woo Kim, have a 9:48 tee time. Spieth is tied for first with Koepka and Matt Kuchar. Kuchar will tee off at 3:36 a.m. with Richie Ramsey and Ryan Fox completing his group.

Rory McIlroy had a heck of a finish to his day on Thursday. After starting off by getting a bogey on five of his first six holes, he concluded round one one stroke over par. His group will feature Dustin Johnson and Charl Schwartzel and they will tee off starting at 4:47 a.m. ET.

Phil Mickelson is always a crowd pleaser and is one of the most popular players on the PGA tour. Unfortunately, his group will start at 5:09 a.m. ET. The lefty will be joined by Francesco Molinari and Marc Leishman. Bryson DeChambeau is a quick riser among American golfers. He and fellow American Jason Dufner, as well as Branden Grace, will tee off at 7:53 a.m. Friday should feature some fun golf.
