The Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the Edmonton Eskimos at Tim Horton’s Field on Thursday, July 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Last season, the Edmonton Eskimos eliminated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on a last second field goal in the playoffs. Since that kick, the two teams have moved in opposite directions. Edmonton started the season with an undefeated 3-0 record. The Ticats are 0-3 and have lost all three of their games by double digits.

Despite losing former Most Outstanding Defensive Player J.C. Sherritt in the opening game of the season, the Eskimos have been very impressive on defense, allowing only 67 points. Offensively, Edmonton has left points on the field, largely because of drops from Adarius Bowman. Bowman led the league in receiving yards each of the past three seasons but has struggled to start the year. An injured hamstring could prevent Bowman from playing in Thursday’s game and would be a major loss for Edmonton.

The Tiger-Cats have been awful to start the year, allowing 110 points in three games. Hamilton’s secondary has been awful, giving up 440.7 yards passing per game. Offensively, Hamilton has not been much better than their defense. Quarterback Zach Collaros has struggled to move the chains and has been forced out of the pocket because of poor pass protection. If Hamilton cannot turn around their fortunes on offense and defense, it could be a long year in the hammer.
