FanDuel daily WNBA fantasy picks: Thursday, July 20
The WNBA features a two game slate before we head into the all-star break. Let’s take a look at some players who can help get you into the green on Thursday.
The Sky will head to the Staples Center to face off with the Sparks. Chicago has won four out of their last five and will look to climb the standings against the defending champs. Los Angeles has won their last two and has the second best record in the league.
The second game will feature two struggling teams as the Stars will host the Fever. Nothing is going right for San Antonio this season and has only two wins on the year. Indiana is coming off a win against Phoenix and will look to continue to gain ground up in the standings.
To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS WNBA coverage head over to the fantasy basketball hub where each day you can find a post like this tailored for FanDuel. In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to FanDuel scoring system and salaries. Let’s get started!
Forwards
Nneka Ogwumike – Los Angeles Sparks ($8,700): Most everyone should have Nneka Ogwumike in their lineups on Thursday. Over the past four games, she is averaging 45 fantasy points. Get her in your lineup against an inconsistent Chicago team.
Candace Parker – Los Angeles Sparks ($8,200): While we are at it, Candace Parker should also be in everyone’s lineup. Look to find some ways to cut corners on Thursday in order to “stack up” Parker and Nneke Ogwumike. You’ll be glad you did at the end of the night.
Stefanie Dolson – Chicago Sky ($6,000): The reigning WNBA Player of the Week Stefanie Dolson has stepped up in the absence of Cappie Pondexter. Chicago doesn’t have much else to turn to outside of their starting unit so Dolson should have plenty of chances to produce.
Isabelle Harrison – San Antonio Stars ($4,900): Isabelle Harrison has been one of the only high points in San Antonio. With Kayla McBride dealing with an ankle injury, look for Harrison to pick up the slack against an inefficient Indiana team.
