Mexico face Honduras at University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday, July 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Mexico finished first in Group C with two wins and a draw and will meet Honduras in the final Gold Cup quarterfinal. Honduras advanced to the quarterfinal as the top third-place team with four points.

Honduras’ record was inflated thanks to French Guiana playing an ineligible player and handing Honduras a 3-0 forfeit win. Despite bringing a fairly experienced team to the Gold Cup, Honduras did not score a goal in their three group stage games. Manager Jorge Luis Pinto decided to make two changes to his squad following the group stage. Michaell Chirinos and Angel Tejeda were added to the squad with the hope of kick-starting Honduras’ attack and replacing the injured Anthony Lozano and Rony Martinez.

Mexico decided against changing their roster following the group stage and will see how far they can go with their inexperienced squad. In the group stage, five different players scored for El Tri. Mexico will likely rely on experienced Leon winger Elias Hernandez to be the focal point of the attack against Honduras. Hernandez has the most international goals of anyone on the Mexican roster and is one of five players with more than 20 caps. Mexico will likely push for an early goal that would prevent Honduras from sitting back defensively and parking the bus.
