After years off the air, the hit TV show That’s So Raven returns to Disney Channel with a whole new spinoff, Raven’s Home. Here’s how to watch online.
I have really vivid memories of watching That’s So Raven in my pre-teens. It was a wholesome but funny enough show for me, my sisters and my mom to all watch together without feeling like we were just watching a kids’ show. Nowadays, nostalgia is one of the most bankable factors in television and movies, so Disney Channel’s next offering in the revival/reboot/spinoff game is Raven’s Home.
Once again, Raven Symone will headline her own series, and will even bring Anneliese Van Der Pol, who played her best friend in the original series, along with her.
Now, let’s check out the synopsis for tonight’s new episode, courtesy of TV Guide:
"“That’s So Raven” spin-off in which single-mom Raven raises 11-year-old twins, along with best friend Chelsea and her 9-year-old son in one chaotic household. In the opener, a vision leads Raven to meddle in her kids’ life at school; and Booker enlists Levi and Tess to help him convince Nia of his newfound abilities to see into the future."
The premise appears to be that Raven’s son carries the same gift as Raven, so of course, they’re going to spend a lot of their time trying to correct a vision that only would come to fruition by their own meddling. If we’re lucky, we’re sure to get a number of wacky costumes, similar to the original series.
