Who would be the best replacement from the sports world for Sean Spicer? We have five ideas, and all of them would be hilarious.

5. Bill Belichick

While Rob Gronkowski would be another incredible pick from the Patriots organization, we decided to go with Bill Belichick.

First and foremost, Belichick in the White House dealing with the press for a living would be amazing. Belichick’s weekly encounters with the press are already brilliant enough. Imagine getting the privilege to watch him speak with media members every day. Especially about what’s going on in the Trump Administration. The two sides would create a perfect storm of comedy.

Belichick’s staple features would make each and every press conference unique. His constant mumbling would result in confused looks from around the press room, which would be hysterical for anyone on the outside to watch. Belichick would not hesitate to unleash his anger on reporters asking dumb questions either. Not to mention, briefing the press on serious matters in his signature grey Patriots hoodie, classic.

On a more serious note, Belichick’s “get to the point” mentality would come in handy. He always finds the quickest way in and out of an interview, no matter how much information the press gets out of him. Quite frankly, Belichick may possibly be a step up from Spicer, if we’re being honest.

In addition, the New England Patriots head coach already has a favorable relationship with Donald Trump. That puts him in yet another minority of individuals, as if he wasn’t already.
