Braun Strowman wrecked the main event of RAW on Monday night. Jason Jordan is Kurt Angle’s long lost son. Becky Lynch beat Charlotte Flair … clean. And Shane McMahon survived a WrestleMania 34 stunt practice in a helicopter on Wednesday. All of that went down before Battleground this Sunday night, which means fresh power rankings are in, nerds.

Look, guys. I don’t make the pay-per-view schedule and I’m sorry that Battleground is Sunday night. It seems like every other Sunday there’s a three-hour show that has one or two bright spots to it and then the rest of the time, you’re wondering why you’re wasting your time with another WWE pay-per-view.

Battleground marks the 9,325th pay-per-view for WWE and it’s not even August yet. On paper, this show might be one of the worst of the year. A Punjabi Prison match, the SmackDown Women’s Champion isn’t even in action and John Cena is probably going to win the Flag match. We can never have nice things when it comes to WWE, can we?

In all seriousness, Battleground’s build has been rather weak heading into Sunday night. But, on the red brand’s side of things, RAW is shaping up for a fun build toward SummerSlam. We might have two potential Fatal Four-Way matches for the Universal and RAW Women’s Championships next month in Brooklyn. However, that’s next month and not this Sunday.

Let’s dive into the pre-Battleground edition of the FanSided WWE Superstar Power Rankings, starting with two of the most important people involved on Sunday night in Philadelphia.

(Disclaimer: The wrestlers chosen for this power rankings list only appear on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, so that means no NXT/205Live specific stars are on this list.)
