British Open 2017 live stream: Watch Round 3 online

With two days in the books, it’s time to turn the page to Day 3 of the 146th playing of The Open Championship. Round 3 of the 2017 British Open will begin at 4:20 a.m. ET at the Royal Birkdale Golf Course in Southport, England.

The national telecast will begin at 4:30 a.m. ET on The Golf Channel. It will switch over to NBC at 7:00 a.m. ET, where all of your Round 3 action can be found until 3:00 p.m. ET. GolfChannel.com, NBCSports.com and FuboTV will have the available live streams.

Through two days at Royal Birkdale, American golfer Jordan Spieth is the leader at -6. He shot a -5 on Thursday, but managed only a -1 on Friday in tough weather in Southport. Just back of him is American golfer Matt Kuchar, who sits at -4 through 36 holes. He was tied with Spieth and 2017 U.S. Open winner Brooks Koepka at -5 through 18 holes on Thursday. Koepka shot at +2 on Friday to be tied in third place with Ian Poulter.

Whether it has been rain, shine or wind, Spieth has been the best player in The Open Championship thus far. If he shoots under par for a third time on Saturday, he’ll likely be in the final pairing on Championship Sunday at Royal Birkdale. Should he prevail in Southport, it would be his third career major to date and first Claret Jug. He won the 2015 Masters Tournament and the 2015 U.S. Open.
