Jordan Spieth is the 2017 British Open Champion. He beat Matt Kuchar by three strokes to win the Claret Jug. Here are all the highlights from Spieth’s win.

It was good to be Jordan Spieth at the 2017 British Open. The American golfer didn’t let any Round 4 demons from tournaments past wreck his greatest performance in The Open Championship to date. He led the entire tournament and defeated American Matt Kuchar by three strokes at -12 to win his first Claret Jug.

This was Spieth’s third major tournament. He was sensational back in 2015 as a 21-year-old golf prodigy, winning the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open. All he needs is to win the PGA Championship to complete the grand slam. It’s cool, he’s got time, as he is only 23 years old. His best finish in the PGA Championship was a second place one back in — you guessed it, 2015.

Round 4 will go down in the lore of Spieth from what he did at Royal Birkdale. Spieth stunk out of the gate in Sunday, bogeying three of the first four holes. He was about to completely surrender the lead to Kuchar on No. 13. Spieth shanked his tee shot way to the right. It was almost unsalvageable. Somehow, Spieth managed to bogey No. 13 and proceeded to come alive down the stretch.

Spieth would either birdie or eagle four of the next five holes. With Kuchar bogeying No. 18, all Spieth had to do was par the final hole to win the Claret Jug by three strokes. He did just that to become an Open Champion.

Here are all the highlights from Spieth’s championship round at the 2017 British Open.
