Round 4 of the 2017 British Open was outstanding. Here are all the best moments from the final day of The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale on Sunday.

He has done it. American golfer Jordan Spieth pulled it together in the final round to win the 2017 British Open. He had led all week at Royal Birkdale Golf Course in Southport, England. Spieth had been paired with fellow American Matt Kuchar throughout most of the tournament.

While Kuchar proved to be a worthy adversary, Spieth would come out on top and win his third career major and first Claret Jug. Spieth entered Round 4 at -11 on the tournament with Kuchar three strokes back at -8. They had been at the top of the leaderboard all weekend and it was clearly going to come down to the wire with these two golfers.

While Spieth struggled out of the gate on championship Sunday, bogeying three of the first four holes at Royal Birkdale, he could come alive after nearly losing it on No. 13. Spieth shanked his shot tee horrendously, but recovered spectacularly to miraculously bogey No. 13.

From there, Spieth would go on a charge to claim his first Claret Jug. He would birdie No. 14, eagle No. 15, birdie No. 16, birdie No. 17 and par No. 18 to beat Kuchar in The Open Championship by three strokes.

It was a great tournament by both players, but Spieth proved to be a bit more dynamic at Royal Birkdale than was Kuchar in this major golf tournament. This was probably Kuchar’s best round of golf in a major tournament to date for him. He remains one of the best golfers on the PGA Tour without a major championship.

Spieth has now won the British Open, the Masters Tournament and the U.S. Open. Before 2017, his best finish in The Open Championship was 53rd. All he has to do now is win the PGA Championship and he will have completed the grand slam of winning all four majors. Congratulations!
