13. Antoine Griezmann

Take a look at the above photo. A quick glimpse and it looks like Antoine Griezmann’s hair is shaved at the front and sides, and is long at the back. That’s not actually the case, but as with Alexi Lalas, the Frenchman’s use of a hair band has lead to a split between flat and bushy.

To make matters worse, he looks like he’s about to try to tuck some hair behind his ears. The random strands atop his head only add to the impression that this is a man not in control of his hair.

Still, if you thought that was bad, check out his latest haircut of choice.

It was strongly rumored that Griezmann would be leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the 2016-17 campaign. Manchester United was to be his likely destination. He signed a one year contract extension though, which seemed to put the transfer talk to bed.

Which would be fine, had he not then emerged in July with a hairstyle which can only be described as a cry for help. The style itself hasn’t really changed, but the sides have been bleached. They almost look grey in the photo, which doesn’t help matters.

His hair will look dark and short on top, but wavy and bleached at the sides and back once the customary hairband is applied. In this instance, the hairband will mark the thin divide between sanity and madness. We can only speculate at this point what monstrosity Griezmann will choose to sport on his head if he fails to get a move next summer.
