Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers’ Mount Rushmore is led by a 1999 inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Robin Yount spent his entire 20 season career with the Brewers. He’s their all-time leader in hits, doubles, triples, games played, RBIs and runs scored. Yount’s .285 career batting average ranks ninth among all Brewers hitters. He won two MVP awards, three Silver Slugger Awards and a Gold Glove.

Paul Molitor is the other Brewers position player in the Hall of Fame. He ranks second to Yount in bWAR with a 59.6 mark. Molitor’s .303 batting average places him second in franchise history, tied with Ryan Braun. His 2,281 hits with the Brewers are second only to Yount.

Ryan Braun had the PED label on him, but it doesn’t take away from his many accomplishments. He ranks third behind Yount and Molitor in most offensive categories and is the franchise leader in home runs. Braun has won five Silver Slugger Awards with Milwaukee, a Rookie of the Year, and an MVP.

Rollie Fingers is the best pitcher in franchise history. As a relief pitcher, he won the Cy Young Award and MVP in 1981 after putting up 1.04 ERA in 47 games while getting 28 saves (a number of them of the multiple inning variety).

Honorable mention: It was hard to leave Cecil Cooper off this list. Bob Uecker‘s famous voice, made for broadcasting, is one of the most recognizable among baseball fans.
