Frank Kaminsky wins $100 bet at Chicago White Sox game

Frank Kaminsky and his friend amade a bet the 7-footer couldn’t throw a baseball 85 miles per hour. It didn’t end well for his friend.

Frank Kaminsky made $2.73 million from the Charlotte Hornets last season. He can now add an extra $100 to that total.

The former Wisconsin Badger was attending a Chicago White Sox game on Thursday night when he stopped to have a little fun on the way to his seats.

He and his friends were side-tracked by a speed-pitch game. He and his friend agreed to a $100 bet. The terms were whether or not Kaminsky could throw an 85 MPH fastball.

He might want to work on his accuracy. Throwing the baseball with no regard for human life, he drilled the fake batter on the shoulder. Fortunately, it was enough to triumph and he was able to celebrate his moment as the victor.

According to the Instagram comments, the former ninth overall pick never received his money. His friend states Kaminsky’s past history of not following through on bets as the reason he’s not paying up.

A little piece of advice for next time: money on the wood makes the bet good.

The 7-footer is known for his goofy off-court antics. During his rookie season, he danced alone on half-court during the intermission of an exhibition game in China. Frank the Tank stepped up his game in the regular season. He averaged career-highs in points (11.7), rebounds (4.5), assists (2.2) and steals (0.6). Maybe there is some minor league baseball in his future as well?
