Many of the coaches on this list are here for pure football knowledge and experience, but sometimes you need some entertainment. That’s where Arkansas’ Bret Bielema comes in.

At SEC Media Days this past month, he even admitted that people just love to ask him questions during the event to get a headline-grabbing quote from him. He’s not usually one to hold back and he always has something interesting to say. That sometimes rubs people the wrong way, but ESPN has never been afraid to hire people who speak their minds.

As a broadcaster, Bielema would likely add in tidbits of interesting information clouded by catchphrases and silly sayings that he picked up since becoming an SEC coach. It would surely provide some entertainment for viewers and I can’t see it being a terrible thing. I personally would love to see how Bielema would dissect a play, but I’d also like to hear about his personal shenanigans.

However, you can bet that no one from the state of Wisconsin would like to tune in to hear what he has to say because he left the Badgers high and dry when he took the job at Arkansas. One less state to appeal to, in his mind.
