The Philadelphia 76ers have joined a handful of other teams in releasing their new jerseys by Nike.
Nike continues to push out their NBA jersey designs. On the docket last night was the Philadelphia 76ers. From the initial look, tweeted by Darren Rovell, not much has changed.

The two comparisons show the subtle differences from the Adidas version of the jersey. The shadow effect and red outline makes the text stand out a bit more on the blue or white background.
One thing that people have noticed is the advertising that has begun to pop up on all these new Nike jerseys. The 76ers partnered with StubHub for their jerseys. They were the first team to announce a partner and the list continues to grow. The patch, located on the upper left side, will not be a part of this year’s jerseys but are expected to debut in 2018.

Perhaps the most unique Philly thing on the jersey is the embroidered “Brotherly Love” on the bottom. The little gold script will not be visible during in-game action, due to the tucked in jersey requirements in the NBA. However, fans will get it as part of the jerseys they purchase.

Paul Lukas also reports that the Sixers, and every other NBA team, will get two alternate jerseys to be unveiled later this year.
