Just in time for college football to start this year, here’s how you can find ESPNU on DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner.

In less than a month now, Aug. 26, the 2017 college football season will start with a slate of games including Rice taking on Stanford in Sydney, Australia. The first game of the season to air on ESPNU will be Navy at Florida Atlantic on Friday, Sept. 1, and the World Wide Leader’s college-focused channel will air plenty of games all season long.

ESPNU is not always part of a basic, bare-bone cable or satellite package anymore, but serious college sports fans surely have it anyway. That said, finding the channel again and making it a regular part of the clicking rotation can prove challenging after months away.

Here’s how you can find ESPNU on DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner.

On the first Saturday of the new season, Sept. 2, ESPNU will have a triple header of games. Bowling Green at Michigan State at noon ET, Troy and Boise State at 3:45 p.m. ET and South Alabama at Ole Miss at 7:30 p.m. ET are on the slate, with the last contest carrying some added interest due to the unrest at Ole Miss and Matt Luke replacing Hugh Freeze as head coach on a interim basis.

As the season goes on ESPNU will not have a lot of marquee games, as those will be earmarked for a more primary national stage and a wider audience on ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, FOX and FS1. But any college football fan with interest in teams from the MAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt and other “Group of 5” conferences can surely still find a lot good games to watch, with teams from the big conferences sprinkled in too.
