Summer just isn’t complete until you’ve competed in the Overwatch Summer Games.

The second annual Overwatch Summer Games will be kicking off across all platforms on Aug. 8. This will be the first time Overwatch repeats a seasonal event, and game director Jeff Kaplan has released a video reassuring us that the event will be even better the second time around.

Those who missed Overwatch Summer Games the first time around have a cause for celebration, because Kaplan has confirmed that the event’s exclusive skins will be available once again to unlock in loot boxes. This time around they will also be available to purchase with the in-game currency, which is something Overwatch did not allow previously.

What’s more, you won’t need to pay the premium price that usually accompanies special event skins. Old Summer Games skins will be priced like regular skins.

But it wouldn’t be a proper Overwatch event without new skins. Kaplan hints the event will include new skins for Junkrat, Mercy, Widowmaker and McCree, as well as some “silly stuff.” He did not elaborate on the silly stuff.

Additionally, special game mode Lucio Ball will be making a triumphant return on a new Australian map. Based on how players utilized Lucio’s modified abilities last year, a couple changes have been made to the game as well as to Lucio’s ultimate when playing Lucio Ball.

Overwatch is also adding competitive Lucio Ball to the Summer Games event so you can stress yourself out needlessly over a cute mini-game. Completing ten Lucio Ball placement matches will earn you a limited-edition spray, and placing in the top 500 Lucio Ball players in your region will earn you another one. The competitive Lucio Ball season will last the length of the event, which is three weeks.
