The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the 2017 Hall of Fame Game, and here is how you can watch the action online.
Two days before the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys will battle it out in the annual Hall of Fame Game. The Cardinals and Cowboys are both expected to be playoff teams in 2017, and both have ties to a few of the men being enshrined into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 5. While the game won’t be super-competitive, at least there will be one.
Last year, the game was canceled due to field conditions, as the surface resembled concrete. The brand-new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium will play host to the game for the first time this year, and it should be quite the event. The game is slated for Thursday, August 3, the first time the game has been played on a Thursday, and all of the live stream information can be found later in this post.
The Cardinals and Cowboys have ties to the 2017 Hall of Fame class, with one member being a former player, and one the current owner of the team. Kurt Warner nearly led the Cardinals to a Super Bowl title during his time with the team, and Jerry Jones has completely turned around the Cowboys franchise since becoming the team’s owner. Both men are very deserving of enshrinement into the Hall of Fame, and it makes sense that these two teams would be playing on Thursday, August 3.

While the festivities are certain to be exciting, as is the signalling of the 2017 NFL season, do not expect many big names in the game. The Arizona Cardinals have already said that they will not play stars like Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald, and second-year Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott will also likely sit this one out. Still, the Hall of Fame Game means the football season is right around the corner, and that is music to my ears.
