John Wall is one of the best point guards in the NBA and showed off his handles down in Miami.

One of the fastest, most explosive and elite athletes in the NBA is Washington Wizards’ point guard John Wall. He also apparently loves basketball so much that he is willing to embarrass defenders at any time, on any court.

Wall hit this defender with an in-and-out dribble through the hapless guy’s legs. The cherry on top came from the silky smooth step back jumper that Wall drilled to complete the play. Even the defender couldn’t help but laugh it off.

John Wall has every reason to be happy and bouncing around the court. He just came off his best season as a pro. The lead guard averaged a double-double with 23 points and almost 11 assists. He showed off the defensive prowess that has been praised since he joined the league, by averaging two steals per game.

The Wizards saw success throughout the season as well. They finished fourth in the conference and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. Washington lost to Boston in seven games, with Wall looking gassed by the end of the series from the enormous load he carries.

The team rewarded the All-Star point guard with a massive 4=four-year $170 million extension that kicks in for the 2019 season. Washington also locked up growing 3-point marksmen Otto Porter this summer to a max deal.

With a promising core of Wall, Porter and sharp shooting guard Bradley Beal, the Wizards are looking to improve on a great season.

As for Wall and fellow NBAers, this off-season has shown that they’ll take the opportunity to hoop anywhere. If they get on the floor, they are going to show why they are in the NBA and the majority of their opponents are not. Hopefully we continue to see more of these players embarrassing folks as the summer winds down.
