1. Jay Cutler
Cutler is also moving to the broadcast booth this year, joining FOX as game analyst. But his retirement decision is a little different from Romoās, with a lack of interest in him on the open marketĀ and a nod to his perceived on-field persona.
Gase was offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears in 2015, and Cutler had one of the best seasons of his career. In 15 games, he threw for 3,659 yards and 21 touchdownsĀ while completing over 64 percent of his passes. Those arenāt gaudy numbers, but Cuter also threw justĀ 11 interceptions in 483 attempts.
Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has alreadyĀ pointed toĀ Cutler as a more likely option for the Dolphins than Kaepernick to replace Tannehill. If Tannehill is out, and out of the picture for awhile, Cutler can re-join Gase without inviting a competition for the starting job.

Cutler never came off asĀ a guy who loved playing football, so he may simply be done doing so. But the Dolphins and Gase can present a unique opportunity to quickly un-retire, and Cutler would have to listen.
