With SummerSlam just weeks away, WWE gave fans a treat by releasing one of 2016’s best matches: John Cena vs. AJ Styles at Summerslam 2016.

SummerSlam is one of the biggest WWE events of the year, and they don’t call it the “Biggest Party of the Summer” for nothing. For an event of that magnitude, WWE is pulling out all of the stops on their YouTube channel to hype fans up for the event.

WWE typically releases full matches from past events before a PPV rolls around to give fans an idea of what’s coming up on the WWE Network, but they generally stick to older matches that are at least a few years old. By doing that, they get more subscribers to their network for the newer matches, and give fans a taste at some old content for nostalgia.

However, WWE broke the mold on Friday and gave fans some premium content for free on YouTube. With John Cena and AJ Styles both making waves on SmackDown, the company decided to put out their classic match from last year’s SummerSlam for anyone and everyone to watch.

The match was widely regarded as one of 2016’s best matches, and, without a doubt, the best match on last year’s SummerSlam card. It saw Styles come out on top over Cena for the second time, this time with a clean finish, and it helped to establish Styles as a main event talent on the blue brand for the rest of the year.

The two went on to have an equally great match at the Royal Rumble match five months later in January, but you’ll have to subscribe to the WWE Network to check that out. See where they get you, now?

If you have a free 25 minutes to spare and want to watch some quality wrestling, look no further than this Cena-Styles match to get you excited for this year’s SummerSlam.
