The Cleveland Cavaliers have introduced some new jerseys on Monday afternoon. They look really great and will probably fly off the shelf this summer.

Though it’s not a huge adjustment overall, the Cleveland Cavaliers introduced a pair of new uniforms for the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season on Monday afternoon. While the color scheme stays the same, it’s a crisper look with a new shield and Goodyear logo on the lapel.

The Cavaliers routinely push a ton of merchandise in NBA circles. This is because they have the best player in the sport on their team in LeBron James. Playing in three straight NBA Finals has only increased the team’s marketability.

The newly released shield is pretty cool. It has the Cavaliers logo with the C and the sword running through it with a black background. This is probably the biggest change to the Cavaliers’ uniform design, besides adding the Goodyear logo.

While the white road jerseys look similar to what Cleveland was already wearing last year, the red uniforms for when the Cavaliers play at home look great. Neither the shoulders on both uniforms have the Three Musketeers saying of “All for one” and “One for all.” It’s a little campy, but it’s effective given the team’s nickname. So, it works.

As long as the Cavaliers’ big three of James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are with the team, Cleveland should be poised to win its fourth straight Eastern Conference Finals. Irving has been in the news of late for supposedly wanting a trade out of town to not play with James anymore.

If Irving leaves, then it might be the Boston Celtics’ turn to control the Eastern Conference. Should the Cavaliers bring the band back for another season, they are on a crash course to meet the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals for a fourth year in a row.
