The Tribe lost five of seven games last week, including back-to-back home losses to the Yankees Saturday and Sunday in which Cleveland scored a total of two runs. It was an up-and-down week, but a trio of starting pitchers stood out for their strong performances.

Corey Kluber continued his quest for a second AL Cy Young Award with a complete game victory over the Yankees. Trevor Bauer allowed one run in seven innings against New York, and Danny Salazar held the Yankees to just one run as well. Kluber struck out 11 in nine innings, and allowed just three hits. Salazar struck out 12 in seven innings and surrendered four hits.
